Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Setup Technician to join our team. This position involves hands-on labor related to the preparation, transport, and installation of manufactured homes. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-minded, and able to work in varying weather conditions while performing physically demanding tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Unblocking, blocking & leveling manufactured homes
- Performing labor required to prepare homes for transportation and installation
- Installing plumbing connections
- Skirting Installation
- Perform close-up finish work: trimming, framing, & painting - Interior closeup
- Conducting pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance on company vehicles and loads
- Completing job paperwork, including documentation of materials used & labor performed
- Organizing, stocking and maintaining inventory of parts in the shop & work trucks
- Performing minor maintenance on vehicles, utility trailers & equipment
- Complete yard & building maintenance
- Assisting drivers with transportation, spotting of loads and equipment
- Serving as a Pilot Car Driver & Flagger (may be required to obtain certification - clean driving record required)
- Be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs+
*** Job duties involve heavy lifting, painting, & working in inclement weather and all-weather conditions. Out of town travel required. ***
Job Requirement
- Valid NM Driver’s License with a Clean Driving Record (NO DUI’s within 7 Years)
- Be willing to travel, work flexible hours and maintain punctuality
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work safely and follow instructions
Preferred:
- Two years experience in construction and/or plumbing.
