Setup Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Setup Technician to join our team. This position involves hands-on labor related to the preparation, transport, and installation of manufactured homes. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-minded, and able to work in varying weather conditions while performing physically demanding tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Unblocking, blocking & leveling manufactured homes
  • Performing labor required to prepare homes for transportation and installation
  • Installing plumbing connections
  • Skirting Installation
  • Perform close-up finish work: trimming, framing, & painting - Interior closeup
  • Conducting pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance on company vehicles and loads
  • Completing job paperwork, including documentation of materials used & labor performed
  • Organizing, stocking and maintaining inventory of parts in the shop & work trucks
  • Performing minor maintenance on vehicles, utility trailers & equipment
  • Complete yard & building maintenance
  • Assisting drivers with transportation, spotting of loads and equipment
  • Serving as a Pilot Car Driver & Flagger (may be required to obtain certification - clean driving record required)
  • Be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs+

*** Job duties involve heavy lifting, painting, & working in inclement weather and all-weather conditions. Out of town travel required. ***

Job Requirement

  • Valid NM Driver’s License with a Clean Driving Record (NO DUI’s within 7 Years)
  • Be willing to travel, work flexible hours and maintain punctuality
  • Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work safely and follow instructions

Preferred:

  • Two years experience in construction and/or plumbing.
